returns policy
This Returns Policy is in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. It applies to all artwork purchased through our online store.
1. Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
as a consumer purchasing online, you have the legal right to cancel your order for the artwork purchased within 14 days ("cooling-off" period”), for any reason and without justification for a full refund.
your purchase will be processed for delivery once your 14 day cooling-off period has passed.
all items are checked for quality prior to shipping.
to cancel your order, you must notify us in writing via email at returns@hbk-art.com within this 14-day period.
2. Returns Process
If you wish to return an item:
Contact us at returns@hbk-art.com within 14 days of receiving the artwork.
Once we confirm your request, you must return the artwork within 14 days.
Returns must be in the original condition and with adequate protective packaging to avoid damage.
You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the artwork is faulty or misdescribed.
3. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned artwork:
We will issue a refund within 14 days of receiving the return, using the original payment method.
We reserve the right to make a deduction if the artwork has been handled more than necessary or is returned damaged.
4. Damaged or Faulty Artwork
If the artwork arrives damaged or faulty:
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the damage.
We will offer a full refund, exchange, or repair where appropriate, including return postage costs.
5. Exceptions (Bespoke or Commissioned Work)
custom-made, commissioned, or personalised artwork is non-refundable, unless it is faulty or misdescribed. original artwork, artwork that is custom framed, commissions, artist proofs and signed prints require a 50% non-refundable deposit. this does not affect your statutory rights.
