About the Artist

After taking art & design at GCSE and A-Level I went on to study art, electronic graphic design and photography at art college. The inspiration has come from my education, career in graphic design and my current role in engineering.

My work is unique, using a plasterboard base as my canvas. This provides the opportunity for a wide range of medium types including; satin, eggshell, gloss, matt, metallic and aerosol paints. This unique method, combined with my professional engineering expertise and creative side, creates abstract pieces that provoke thought, evoke emotion, and invite conversation.

I draw inspiration from engineering, technology, science, personal interests and everyday images aiming to create art that resonates with both individual viewers and broader communities. My creative process is deeply intuitive, often beginning with a spontaneous idea or emotion and evolving through layers of experimentation.

Artist Statement

My work seeks to challenge perceptions and provoke thought. Each piece reflects a dialogue between control and chaos, structure and spontaneity. Whether I’m working on a commission, or a new piece, I strive to maintain a sense of authenticity and originality. Art, for me, is both a personal therapy and a universal language—one that transcends boundaries and speaks to the shared human experience.
